Explore our holistic approach to lifestyle and read a Piece for Peace of Mind, Body and Soul

Welcome to A Piece for Peace of
A personal development, health & wellbeing, arts & culture blog with a holistic approach to lifestyle. Every week, a piece is published in each category–peace of mind, body and soul.
A Piece for Peace of Mind
This is the self-development section of the blog, which explores themes such as self-esteem, anxiety, insecurities, etc., through a “state of mind” approach. What is the best mindset to obtain to deal with mental barricades?
In the pursuit of the most helpful answers, I tackle each piece with my mom’s perspective since she is a fully trained Life Coach and Mental Trainer. The older I get, the more I realise how much I get my mentality from her, and I wish more people could benefit from it, too. While sharing personal anecdotes as someone in her mid-20s, I hope to change the discourse about mental strength (rather than mental health, which a therapist is more equipped to advise on) as a predominantly Gen-Z issue to more of a transgenerational one.
A Piece for Peace of Body
This is the health & wellbeing section of the blog that sprung from a lifelong struggle with weight which culminated in gut issues and allergic skin. After many doctor visits, hour-long podcasts, several books from experts in the realm of health, I feel like I am finally obtaining wellness. Through fitness, nutrition, skincare, haircare, supplements, and other wellness routines, I aim to bring peace to my body. This is the space to take note of my findings, dive deeper by experimenting with different approaches, and share them in case they might help any of you!
Disclaimer: Since I have no educational background nor professional training in this field, I will include the references from experts who have done their due diligence. This way, I aim to base my suggestions on evidence and not just on my personal journey.
A Piece for Peace of Soul
This last section leaves room for the most fun. I wanted to create a space that talks about the things in life that feed our soul in a way no mindset and lifestyle habit can. Sometimes our soul craves something we don’t have (yet!), like a fulfilling purpose, or a meaningful relationship. For me, the biggest soul food has always been art, films, TV shows, theatre, music, fashion, makeup, travel, and books!
As an art aficionado and culture vulture, I want to revel in the beauty of it all with positive reflections on the pieces that I loved. Think of this as your digital arts & culture club.
